{STRONG} is always beautiful…

Strong is the NEW beautiful

You hear it all the time. Society is constantly requiring new demands for what is “beautiful.” Strong can be defined as, “having the power to move heavy weights or perform other physically demanding tasks.”…(according to Google definitions) I believe “strong” in every sense is having the ability and attitude to overcome the ever changing demands of life.

Many people refer to being “strong” to gym life. You can workout and get the results you want…but that is NOT what makes you a strong person. The results you see from working out are outcomes of the HARD WORK and perseverance put in throughout everyday of the journey. The majority of people that consider themselves strong have hungry appetites for a challenge. They prepare themselves to have positive attitudes through whatever happens along the way. Personally, my faith in God and knowing He has my BEST interests in mind, no matter if I see that yet or not, is what helps me through everyday.

“I can do all things through Christ that gives me strength”

Philippians 4:13

Strong is beautiful because when you face adversity, you learn things about yourself you never knew before. Step out of your comfort zone. Know that God doesn’t challenge you with things He knows you can’t handle. He believes in you so BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. When the outside world can see the confidence in your own ability to fight, YOU ARE STRONG.

Key to being STRONG: {DON’T COMPLAIN} don’t seek sympathy from other people, complaining does NOTHING BUT SHOW YOUR WEAKNESS. Accept the challenge, keep a positive attitude, and PROVE HOW STRONG YOU CAN BE. At the end of the day, that is what truly makes you beautiful.

I chose this topic because you have no idea how long it took me to be able to do a Chaturanga plank. The daily practice of YOGA helped be build the muscles it takes to do this specific plank. Proud of where I’ve come this far and excited to see what is in store for me. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

Be true. Be you.
