Happy Tuesday! Yesterday I broke out the strappy sandals for the season! Spring is coming and that is all the reason to rock the sandals. {A girl can hope, right?!}

I thought it was only appropriate to show off this outfit because I have a SWING DRESS on! How convenient (hint: I wrote about the swing dress trend for this summer two post ago). Just another example from my closet: I told you all I LOVE the basic swing dress. On the real though. 😉

Anyways, it isn’t the right season to wear a sleeveless swing dress by itself- so I accessorized my dress with a long cardigan. I’m sure you have seen more and more of these in clothing stores of all sorts.

Not going to lie, the first time I saw a long cardigan, I thought it was supposed to me a robe (it’s not I promise- just a trend). The long cardigan isn’t for every outfit- but worn right you can resemble a Greek goddess. 😉

The long cardigan I have on in the pictures, adds just the right amount of color to my outfit & does not OVERWHELM the outfit itself. The plain black swing dress & basic strappy sandals, keep my outfit simple– but TRENDY! Of course, everything I have on I found at Plato’s Closet. I put together my entire outfit {plus the shoes} for $20. I ❤ DEALS!
