LONG TIME NO BLOG! The countdown to the semester is almost over! I’m now officially done with classes, all I have left is exams! SO CLOSE. I’m beyond ready to spend the summer relaxing with no classes!

That being said, this post is going to be short, sweet, and to the point. I woke up this morning and had absolutely no motivation to get up for church. No joke, I probably debated on going for atleast 15 minutes. I had looked forward to Sunday all week, and when it was actually time, all I wanted to do was stay in bed.

I told myself “GET UP, YOU ARE GOING!” I was so upset with myself for even debating going to praise God, over being lazy and laying in bed for an extra hour. NOT COOL. Bottom line, I got up, went, saw some friends, enjoyed the service, and left with knowledge I didn’t have before. I made myself better; I chose to do what was best for me.

I know we don’t always make that decision. There are many times where laying in bed seems to be the better decision. Although these little things won’t kill you, they do affect your ability to become the person you want to be. If you want to grow in your life, you need to be willing to start addressing the smaller things.

I got out of bed and immediately my mindset changed (key word being: mindset; the sermon at CedarCreek today was about our mindset…ironic or nah). Anyways, I got up and picked out an outfit. I get super excited when I get to wear cute outfits that aren’t workout clothes. YAYY. So with this little story, I attached my outfit pictures from this morning.

I was so excited to break out another ROMPER for the season. The weather is so goregous today I couldn’t help it. I wanted to add a pop of color to my outfit: so I added a royal blue blazer. Of course I topped my outfit off with ankle boots and BOOM! Super cute little outfit selection that is total SIMPLE! 

My little pitty party for myself to get out of bed this morning, turned into a great morning I had to praise God and dress outside my usual gym clothes. Blessed.
